Nice scenery, like the two ships together. Like the land background and the beautiful blue sky with feather clouds. Looks windy by the looks of the ripples.

Hi thanks for the great review
There is only one boat there it has rigging at both sides as it dredges for scallops on each side

old sailing fishing boat with radar, the old and the new. I can not figure out the side of the ship, is the design painted on??? Good clarity, good depth of field, framing good, nice picture.

Hi there thanks for the great review

Oh William look at this....out in the open water. Oh but I like seeing your ship there w/o all the 'business' ...and people on it as well. What a treat.

Lovely shot... good focus and pov. I like how you've framed this w/ just a touch of land off in the background and how clearly I can see all the riggens on the ship itself. Lovely sky as well w/ this one.

A wonderful shot here William. Quick question...do they change the name every time they sell the ship? I'd heard somewhere that it was bad luck to NOT change the name. Is that true??

I am guessing that she scraped her side against a dockside somewhere? Your image is nicely composed, sharp with fine exposure. Love the coastline in the background. Well done!

Hi nikman thanks for the great review
No she didnt scrape her side what you see is the scallop dredges which are made of chains and that is them covered in rust

A very nice scene William. I like the color of the water and the way it contrasts the boat. The depth of field is just right showing that sliver of land. The sky was very cooperative for this photo. Well done William ~ Steve

This is a really nice shot of a working ship out on its route. I like how the background is a little piece of land that makes a really good backdrop for the ship itself. The colors on it are very nice, especially the yellow on the front and blue on the base. Good focus and clarity.

Nice capture. What type of vessel is she? Very calming shot. Love the color and the lighting. Nice composition, framing focus and dof. What's all the rust about?

Hi chuck thanks for the great review
She is a scallop dredger and the rust you see at the sides are the chains that dredge the bottom of the sea bed

William,
A beautiful stop action picture of The Sea Lady heading out to sea, five members of the crew visible on board, the member in the stern & one in the wheel house in their Hi Vis clothing. The rusty coloured flank of the boat over which the catch is brought on board, shows us she is a very hard working boat. The sandy cliffs in the distance add interest. Hopefully their voyage was completed in the calm sea she is heading out into. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
Susan
