This is an interesting picture. Got to love those graffiti artists. They even decorated the support beams. I like the golden grass in the foreground. This building has character. Vehicles in back are a little distracting.

It's amazing how a city's infrastructure reflects the minds of its citizens. Wouldn't it be great to be able identify one graffitist and secretly watch them to see the graduation and transformation of their work as their life changes?

I think that's been done but there are always new artists to track.
If they don't end up in jail.

Hi Paula!
Yeow!
That looks like a scene you'd see up here in either the unhappy city of Schenectady
( cursed for all eternity by sorcerers of the First Nations several centuries ago ) or the shamefully neglected and broken down southern area of our state's capital city, Albany!
Anyway,it's not exactly a 'pretty picture' but it's certainly an interesting and unusual one!
'Bon Spectacle',my friend!

Hi Paula, haven't spoken to you lately, hope all is well. This is a really insightful shot. Your notes were great and so is this shot of the "underworld." Scary to think that everyone is driving on it! Good shot though - would make a great journalism piece!

Seeing the back side of this type of infrastructure tells a story of the urban decay in America. I have ridden the rails and as the trains come into stations, you see some of the backsides of life. Your POV is well done to convey your notes. Lighting is good as it lights up the detail of the scene.

This is very interesting. The road does need repair. The road looks a little low on the left side. It might need to be straightened 0.5 counterclockwise. All other technical aspects are good. Good luck in the contest.

Well I for one would not like to be using that road. Looks like a major accident just waiting to happen. Your composition certainly does a good job of showing us the scale of the problem and the makeshift solutions being employed.

An interesting find! What were you doing down there!?! The places we go to feed our hobby! :)
I love the view under First Ave with the beams, textures and bonus of local artists. ;)
I would have cropped off the top only showing the structure and adjusted highlights on the golden grass.
Nice capture Miss Paula;)

Thanks. But don't you think withhout the cars you can't appreciate the danger of doing nothing?Paula

Not to my eye, but that is just my opinion.
When I crop out the top, I like it better..this does not make me right. I review on camera techs, I live artistic choices to artist only offering my view.
I do not deduct stars for personal choices.
