This is beautiful, Cleo and a worthy winner of the contest. Lovely digital art painting showing the pretty little Ladybird resting on the green leaves of a vegetable plant. Love the soft floaty nature of the surrounding leaves, showing off the Ladybird perfectly. Excellent use of colour, light and shade. Beautiful composition. Suzanne

This is really quite beautiful! The lady bug and the green vegetable leaves have been rendered really well, the little lady bug looks so alive and real! The colors and use of light and shadow are both awesome and add to the initial impact, which is great. I can see why this one won :) great job!

I love ladybugs or ladybirds and you have created this one with such realistic detail. I like the way you placed it on the green leave of the vegetable plant in such an angle that allows a good view of its structure from its head and face back. The green leaves are beautifully shown and I especially like the way you softened their appearance in order to allow the ladybug to stand out. Very well created with beautiful realistic colors and tones and a good show of the lighting. Well presented!

Wonderful image Cleo. It is easy to see why this as a contest winner. The smooth almost dreamlike appearance of this is wonderful.
The orange ladybug really stands out from the background especially the dynamic differences in color.
