Beautiful drawing! The expression on the child's face is beautifully serene, and the values are perfect. The drawing looks very precise as usual. :) One suggestion I have would be to increase the detail, although not having a clear reference picture can make this difficult. However, I feel given your experience, you could improve the textures in the hair so it's not as blurry.
Still a great drawing though!

Beautiful use of tones Linda,The simple drop down curl of her hair is so effective and well placed which compliments the rest of this little girls image ...a beautiful piece which I'm sure the father figure really appreciated, well done :)
