Virtual 6 . Out of the box shot, super framing , your crop helps this image to enlarge the birds throat even more, the blue background color is strong and a fantastic color contrast to let the bird stand out so well
his position in your space makes this shot unique for sure, super reaction, excellent focus, perfect exposure, a well composed picture,
sooooo neat thanks for sharing

Gorgeous shot.
Lovely blue sky for this handsome sandhill crane. Red face and red under wonderful beak. Awesome neck colors and coat. Colors are bright and delicious to review. Centered, detailed and shadowed properly. Wonderful crane and eye viewer.
Thanks for showing.
Congratulations and Good Luck.
Have yourself a great Memorial day week-end!

This poor crane WAS injured, he ended up with a stiff neck!
Lovely Eileen, that long vertical is exactly what the doctor ordered, a bit on an angle, a bit humourus , good post productions technique...your signature of excellence is evident.
