This is a powerful and moving photo. I especially like the feeling this photo projects. Don't worry about the head being a bit cut off its still a truly amazing and moving photo.

Well, not quite half. National Cemeteries (I live near two) are very humbling. All those rows and rows of identical stones. Each representing a sacrifice beyond thanks. It is really nice that you still spend time with your dad and this is a very nice image. Sort of good work. :-)

I find this a very thoughtful and tender picture. Never mind the technical imperfections. Sentiments are important. That is well captured in this shot. But overall, the picture has come out well in terms of light, colour and clarity. Thanks for sharing!

Looking at the endless row of grave stones, each lovingly decorated by a flag, one cannot hep but think of the countless men and women who have served or sacrificed their lives to protect our freedom. Your photo is a great way to honor your Dad and the other veterans. As I was born and raised behind the Iron Curtain, and now am a grateful USA citizen, I am deeply grateful for those who fought and still fight to protect the freedom we enjoy. Thank you for sharing this photo and for your service. Patricia

Thank you..first, for your service for our country and second for taking time to visit these memorials. I too have several family members who have in the past or do serve our country with their fellow countrymen. You are all to be revered and remembered with immeasurable respect. Thank you for posting this. Sincerely, Rebecca

What a testimony to patriotism. My son-in-law is currently in the military and is deployed as his wife found out she is pregnant. So many people don't understand how much family has to give up for those that serve their country. I know Memorial day is for the fallen in battle. I still appreciate everyone who is giving their life, whether dead or alive, for my freedom. Thank you for the reminder with this photo.
