You were really lucky that there is nobody on the streets as this looks excellent just as architecture, I can imagine to use a water pressure equipment and to clean them all up - but even this way they are beautiful, just can imagine how many centuries people were walking there - amazing

excellent view point, super focus, your picture is clear and sharp and the walls are well defined into textures of the stones

genuine lighting and soft contrast - a very well composed picture, thanks for sharing

Nice image with a lot of age worn character that is lacking here in the States.
Only minor issue is that I would like to see a bit of perspective correction to remove the slight lean,

If only I had a 6 to give you for this masterpiece. The beauty of this ancient town is something that can truly make the viewer stop and reflect. The old architecture is truly wonderful. This picture is perfect.

Fantastic composition. What are those 3 dark rectangles on the street? Structurally these buildings look very strong yet. Are they inhabited? Captures height and depth and the green of the tree draws your eye to travel to the very end of the street.

This is a very interesting photo to view along with your artist notes. Thanks for being so thorough with those.

I too like seeing the 'antique' textures in this scene. You captured them nicely. Your use of the light at that time of day (overcast?) and your perspective made this scene free of the shadows that would interfere with your textures and your display of architecture...not to mention your realistic colors. Excellent job on achieving that balance with the natural light.

Your details are sharp throughout your frame. The soot colored shadows almost seem to be placed in strategic spots to enhance this scene of stones, a bit of wood and tile roofs. The color of the shutters is my favorite part of the scene. They suggest that there really is life inside those old walls.

Your perspective has let your viewer imagine standing just there. But your framing has made it more artistic than what the naked eye might see.

Excellent post. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting capture of historical importance. Thanks for the notes. Old stone and brick structures are a photographer's delight as they offer so much of texture. You have shot it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!
