What an adorable capture. And a fine entry for this contest since the hat is a major part of the story here.

I like the treatment you have used to change the background. The blue is a nautical blue....staying in line with your theme and your other vivid colors.

Your choice of framing tells your story nicely. I probably would have cropped it right above the knees for this contest...just to give the hat the majority of the frame and not the child. Just my opinion.

Your clarity is good as well. This is certainly a perfect greeting card for friends and family.
