the soft background wit the sun rays reflects very well the meaning of this hat
I think your have it well prepared, your picture is perfect in focus, contrast and lighting, I love the perspective looking down on the structure and decors
contrast and lighting are genuine and soft perfectly adapted to the object
the circle in the square is excellent for this contest - a good idea well presented, well composed, all the best for the contest

like the ray effect that comes from hat out to edge of square frame .
The round hat withe the colourful flowers and scarf just great camera work .focus light detail good presentation perfect .MM work good thanks for a creative pretty view best of luck

A beautiful picture of the Lady's Straw Hat decorated with a chiffon scarf & silk flowers on it's brim colourful enough to wear on Lady's Day at a Horse Race Meeting such as Ascot or the Curragh. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques & sharp focus.

Beautiful job w/ focus....every flower perfectly detailed. Colors look natural...nothing over done. Not familiar w/ the oil painting filter but as you've used it you must have done it carefully b/c as I've already mentioned it all looks quite natural.
Exposure is perfect. Yes...your little round hat placed in a small square format is just right. I don't feel the zoom effect is even necessary as it's quite a lovely shot even w/o the radiating arms of light encircling the hat.
Best of luck w/ it in the contest.
