sorry I cant wear it..it don't match my eyes(fluttering eyes) lolol..just teasing. the setup is good. the angle of the shot of the floral hat is good. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image Is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

This photo brings back old memories for me when I was very young child. At Easter we had to make our own Easter Bonnets. We keep the same straw hat but we'd change the flowers and the bows on it every year. To bad the practice is now long out fashion for I remember it being fun to decorate them. Thanks for sharing your photo of this very colorful hat. It reminds me of many springs long ago.

A good Idea, actually three good ideas. The idea to decorate a heat like this and hang it on the wall is the first, the idea to take a photo of it is the second. The third is to add light beams like this to the background. I am not a friend of centered pictures but for this one the centering is perfect. I like those colors. The are both, summer and the best of the autumn colors. The mixed media work is very skilfully done.
I am not sure if this feed the contest rules. As I read them both the circle and the square should be inside the picture. The framing does not count as square. You should ask the contest host about.

Thanks for the fine review Cleo. The rules says: "The topic for this general photography contest is: CIRCLE INTO SQUARE .....find a round object and place it into a perfect square format." To me this means that you have to crop your photo to a square. Most entries are also presented like mine, including the host's.

Uh that means I misread the rules completely. I thought that it meant the square should be in the photo. I have not reserved a place in this contest because I could not think of something perfectly round not to mention a perfectly square formated something for it. Thank you very much for this clarification. :o)
