You really did a good job capturing emotions from both Lady and Pug dog in this photograph. Good lighting. Good natural colors and good focus.

Love the look of this dog at his owner,, unconditional love is right,,they look to us to look after them, not abuse them,,As a dog owner and pet sitter, I know how dogs are totally dependent on us,,this dogs look is beautifully caught here by you as the photographer,

A wonderful picture of the little mature Pug head up it's eyes reading it's Misses' very thoughts the two of them in communion with one another at that very moment with complete understanding of their need to be together. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A touching presentation indeed! You have shot and framed it well. The light, colours and the composition have come out well. Good luck!
PS: I would suggest that you shift this to the 'Photography' section.

You list this as expressive traditional art, but it looks more like a photograph. I can see the love in his eyes and the softness that he is showing towards you. It is very beautiful and moving. Best of luck.

Very emotional photo that shows the love between the lady and dog. You can almost see the affection in the expressions of both the dog and lady. As if they might be lost without each other. Great satisfying photo, thanks for sharing it!

What a beautifully clear photo! I agree with comments in your notes, except that now most of the animals will probably be put down. How very sad that someone didn't step in to help these people before the animals had to be taken away. 50 dogs! Holy cow!! lol. Anon, I'm not a photographer, but I like that your photo tells a story. Nicely done. By the way, you have it listed as mixed media, traditional art. You should have it listed under photography. :) Shawn

Thankyou so much... and I thank all animals for teaching us a lesson!Thankyou for bringing my error posting it as traditional art instead of photography... was not aware, will fix right away.. Thanks for that!

Hello, I am lucky enough one of my reviewers alerted me to the error I made in categorizing my entry as Traditional Art... my apologies and I hope it is not too late to fix it, I was completely unaware... It is obviously a photograph (Traditional) there were no manipulations whatsoever. Again, my sincere apologies.

1st of all I'm a animal lover but never put them above us humans. the sad part there was a news report of neglected children that had died of starvation and another different report of the local animal shelter..now it a took 2 weeks to file charges on the mother of the abuse kids. however many goes to the shelter to protest of the abuse of the animals..so the message is oh well children died due to neglect but its not as important as the animals being abuse. some folks are just 2 steps from a nuthouse in my opinion. guess they prefer animals over humans cause animals don't talk back. so forgiveh if I find your report not as serious as the thousands of abuse children just in our country..so if you had to choose between the 2 and you ccant choose both, which would you choose? wink. the angle of the shot of the old gal looking down at the dog is good. the capture of the light is good. the clarity is good. the image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and good job overall

Thank you for the reminder, although I don't really ever forget... If I had a choice, I couldn't even if I wanted to, you see , I too was one of the abused children. I haw a problem with any human who acts upon his evil instincts towards any living thing... despicable. I chose the animal rights story because it was current. I also cannot comprehend we humans have the ability to be cruel period. Thankyou for sharing my anger towards any cruelty for all living things. I also Thankyou for your honesty, and taking time to review my post.

abuse? welcome to the club and made sure that my children never went thru the starving, beatings and harshness that I have..its stays way back in my mind for there are more positive things in this world to stay focus on like the love and laughing of children. and the animals can sense us in our feelings as well...they just cant talk back..wink

It only makes you stronger, and gives me courage to have a voice when abuse is present!
Thanks for your support!
