well really the pumpkins are expressing that they have hope they wont be gutted..wink.. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the pumpkins and flowers is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

At first I was not too sure about this scene. Pink pumpkins? Then I read your narrative and it all clicked. This is a great depiction of this very important issue. The fact that it shows support due to the colors, it also conveys a sense of hope and a joy for life with all its beauty that is staring us in the face. I wish you all the best in the contest ~ Steve

Even if I know that pink is being related to the cancer cause, I did not think of that when I first looked at this photo. After I read your reply to my review when you told me about your battle against cancer, I fully understand that you fell for this scene. I especially like your selective coloring to make all the pink items stand out without competing with other colors. A very creative approach, and a very fine entry for this contest.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to seen both in the pumpkins and the flowers. The all over exposure is very good, but still I would have tried to darken the lower right corner.
The photo is also nicely cropped and I think all the items have got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a beautiful and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest Sue.

Thank you so much. Funny I really didn't notice the bright glare on the bottom right until you pointed it out. I'm still learning to do some of the editing things. I know I had figured that out, but now forgot so need to relearn it. I guess I hadn't done it enough yet for it to stick. But I agree that would make it better. I really appreciate your comments and input! Sue P. :)
