What a true talent! Your value range is striking and your ability to create 3-D images through use of different plains is amazing. There is so much expression in this image and it has such a dark and thought-provoking feel to it. Amazing

A fine image for this contest. Boris Karloff was born William Henry Pratt in 1887. He is the iconic Frankenstein and that role is nicely captured in this image. Best of luck in the contest.

Boy, this brings back memories. How did you get that face so perfect? This is magic with the graphite. I don't know how you did this but I am getting goose bumps all over. It is a fantastic entry for the contest. Best of luck.

Ahhh. I would know your work anywhere. What a wonderfully spooky portrait of this famous figure. I never know what to say abour your works as they say so much that any words simply take away from the feelings evoked. Very well done my friend and best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

Personally, I like the Mel Brooks version....lol. Gene Wilder was awesome in the role of Dr. Frankenstein. But, anyway, your image, as always, is so detailed. Well done. Good luck.

I think I know who you are that drew this and it is deserving of a 6 rating as all of your work is. Love how you shaded out the two corners around the face and head. It certainly is Frankenstein no one can doubt that. Thank you so much for sharing and good luck in the contest!!!

I really like the creepiness factor here due to the stern look on the face and the sharp lines. I also like how it the face is highlighted and the rest of the silhouette fades subtly into the background. Great work!

Did this by hand? Nice job. Good lighting; good strokes and shading; very realistic; very good on the shades of gray and black; I would make the background a bit lighter; thanks for sharing.

Thank you Swimmer, for your insight. I wanted the background to be dark to stick to the spooky theme.
