Even if the theme is very different from what you usually create I recognized your style straight away. It is especially the way you use the light that is very special for your art. I really like how it is falling on the face of Frankenstein, while the rest of the head is sitting in the shade.

Of course your drawing technique is impeccable and truly excellent, and it is many fine details and shadings to be seen in this drawing.

The framing and the format is perfect, and Frankenstein is well placed on the paper. Indeed a great looking and well drawn portrait, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I have to agree. Well done. This is a fantastic profile of Frank. I like that the back of the head and shoulder are fading into the dark of the night. Like his face is only lit with a candle (which is funny since he doesn't like fire). Very good light and shading. Good luck!

Great drawing of an old familiar monster. Always well played by Mr. Karloff. I Like the composition of the drawing and dark background and all the fine details of face, which brings out more man than monster thanks for sharing this stunning drawing.

OM this face really reflect a evil spirit - you managed it perfectly to shift the harmonious face into a hard looking terrifying expression with sinister energies
the way you let him come out of the dark is well done as the light just shines of the face - style of clothing are excellent and the detail work in this face are fantastic - excellent composition, the way he is placed in your frame is awesome - a stunning work, thanks for sharing

I cannot fault this interpretation of Boris. There is all that is required here to accentuate monster via use of graphite to give fantastic instantaneous recognition. Your use of shadow dwindling away to left but also keeping detail, the old jacket and of course the famous forehead.Grunge effect too makes this a winner in my mind competition or not. Brilliant work.

Good call on the subject of your art. Your rendering would make Boris Karloff quite happy I'm sure. The details, every little hair, are amazing. His lips give his mouth a look of firmness with no harm to come; lips are pressed together but are slack on either end. Good luck in the contest!
