A lovely display of Marigolds, commemorating your Mum's memory. The colors are vibrant against the greenery. They truly are giants compared to regular marigolds. A nice presentation.

An impressive photograph of nature loaded with emotion! The framing is thoughtfully executed, and the balance of light, shadows, and colours enhances the overall composition. Fine work!

Those are really giant marigolds and I was just wondering what kind of chemical you put on them to make them so huge and plentiful, I don't think I have ever seen them so big anywhere, you got to have a green thumb. It is really nice to remember your mom whenever you look at these. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

excellent angle of shot, focus and depth of field

I would prefer the contrast to be a bit more strong, but I do not think it takes from the initial impact

thanks for sharing

    hi a.samanthasena,
    glad you enjoy it.
there is 3 rose of Sharron missing plus the mailbox so that strip has plenty of color but you don't see 2 yellow shrubs in there
as you can make one branch to the right f the wishing well.
thank you for your time and nice review. :-)

Real nice gesture from you and to share out as a keepsake is long term reminder to all. They really are some height and healthy. Over here we struggle at times with lack of heat many a day and plenty rain. Feeding is beneficial but never to your prize beauties. Take care.

Over here in Glasgow West central belt. Expecting snow this week at lower levels .Afraid its almost time to say goodbye to the colours as I cleared out the remaining green tomatoes in the hope of colour in house. Happy days

Seems like you have got quite a giant variety growing there! They certainly deserve there central composition too!! Your exposure and sharpness are fine also. Pity it was a dull day. Otherwise, good shot!

    hi nikman,
yes they are as I have to tie them up getting to tall just to water. :-)
yes it is a nice bed things have grown in in 40 years as the lighthouse mailbox has a smaller bed.
yes it was a cloudy day for this one as all I did was crop it a little.
glad you enjoy it, and for the nice review. :-)

That is such a wonderful memento in your Mother's memory Ron. Good for you for keeping her favorite patch of MARIGOLDS going!!

They are HUGE aren't they! ...and they look really healthy. But then I also see some huge HOSTAS in the background as well. Someone has a green thumb.

Nicely cropped...perhaps in need of just a touch more saturation or contrast but pretty enough just the way it is!! Nicely done Ron....photo AND flowers!

Deborah

I had one over 6 inches around I brought in to mom. :-)
yes my mom planted many varieties as I transplant or give some away.
I did nothing with it just a slight crop.
Thank You, and glad you enjoy them. :-)
