Emotion and elegance all wrapped up together. The sense of urgency and apprehension explodes off the screen. The absence of color creates a very dramatic scene. The motion of the hair adds dramatic flare. Well done.

Excellent poem, to go with your amazing drawing. I love it. I can feel the emotion in the movement. You are so prolific in all that you do. Perfection.

What a good title and poem to accompany this masterpiece. The drawing truly depicts the sentiments of the poem and taps into emotion so well. The colors are perfect and your highlights and shadows bring all sorts of texture to life. Great talent!

First of all your technical skills are handsome to be able to express what the title says
excellent use of space - she is well placed in your frame and the face that you used just one color in different shades from clear to deep brown makes this work even more interesting - your detail work is fantastic the light application beyond

Now what I see?
The way you placed the hair around her head shows me that she is full of fears rating wanting to hide her face as to look clearly and into deepness - at the same time her body pose and self expression shows she is trying to get to her soul to understand where these fears are coming from and that is well expressed by the white dots as positive thoughts mixed with curiosity to fight against these fears - the reason the white dots are sitting just around the brain but on the wild hair = inner fight of the soul with the rational mind

excellent expressive portrait , very special and for me a master piece
thanks for sharing

In full glare , I dare, for your soul to bare.

Of tales it speaks which one can hear, only to you they are dear.

Your soul doth speak in anodyne chants that does one thing and that is to heal.

...and we are one.

What a heartfelt, soul wrenching depiction here. The poem is so relevant to the drawing. Her pain is very real, and, I am afraid, very familiar to oh so many of us. Amazing work. Thank you so much for sharing.

A dramatic & dynamic, still motion rendition. Is she looking away from me?!? Are those noise snowflakes? Then it's cool! Windswept & cinematic!
An artistic composition!
Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive strokes & textures. Thanks for sharing...
