Gorgeous color and technique with the foliage; detail and depth of field marvelous. Most of all is the framing of the pathway curve which gives one the impression the walk could go on all afternoon. Good luck in the contest.

Reminiscent of a French painting from centuries ago there is such lovely use of colour and the texture and detail is remarkable - nothing stilted or contrived conveyed here but rather connotations of liberty and spontaneity.

If the image was just a little softer it would look like a impressionistic painting by Monet. The blending of textures and colors is exciting and makes for a very pleasant image.

nice colors and tones, but the photo is very grainy and there no center of interest, neither a story telling in here

nice capture of the path curve

thanks for sharing

You have certainly got a very fine autumn look there on your pathway! Your photo is well composed giving us a fine look at the countryside you were strolling through. The image also benefits from good exposure and sharpness. Well done and good luck!

a beautiful array of coloured foliage ..the Fall is just such a wonderful time of the year bringing such glorious colours to the eye . You have captured these colours here in your presentation and the path is really inviting to the viewer.good luck

Aptly captured for the contest theme... With a diminishing perspective leading us to nowhere! Autumnal outburst of "colorfalliage"...
Fine features & textures.
Low lit presentation.
Sharply focused.
Good perspective & long depth of field... Best of luck in the contest!

I like this. Dark leaves in the middle build dimension that separates the path from the orange leaves. Path is clear, path in a beautiful fall color surroundings.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

    your welcome. :-)

I find myself being hugged and welcomed by this photograph. That forest is pulling me in.

Your lead line with diminishing point into the grid point shows excellent composition style.

Does this have a lean to the right?

Love the autumnal colours, your post processing was subtle and well done to push this image over the "ordinary" into the realm of "extraordinary".

The format being a large rectangle gives permission to our eyes to dance across your canvas.

Good entry.

Thank you, Not sure if it leans right or if the path itself just drops off to the right. I took this several weeks ago. Those weeds/water plants on the right are the beginning of the lake.
