OK, this is an impressive up close and personal shot.
Its beak looks like it is shut together with a zipper. Something I did not know about a flamingo.
Love the clear shot you got, thank you for putting this book together with so many fabulous Flamingos.

I was actually studying their colors last Saturday as I wanted to be sure I got close with that. They seem to range from lighter pinks to almost orange. I think it depends on the amount of shrimp they eat. Or maybe has something to do with age as well. thanks so much again my friend.

hi Eileen,
yes most are pink but I do see some in photos with that color.
as some like putting those plastic pink flamingos on the island. :-)
that is interesting as I see a lot in ponds and did not know shrimp was there main diet.
