It is indeed a fun and rare site to find birds of a feather facing East,West and one looking down.
Your POV is what makes the shot despite the soft focus.
I will tell you to UP that shutter speed Grace and focus will improve.
I do not think I ever shoot below 1/2500sec when photographing wildlife.
A fun capture Grace!

I know, I know. I think of you all the time when I am leaning towards posting a soft focus! Again, I found the humor in this one too hard to resist. My funny bone gets the best of me :)
Thank you very much for the review. I hope you know that I appreciate it - and I have been taking your advice. (I'll post them eventually) One day I will impress the bajeezus out of you! Ha!

I will save a six for that day...
High shutter...low F/stop central meter the eye!

Hahaha this is a cool picture. I like the different levels portrayed, and the different directions the rows of geese are going. I do feel it's not as sharp or as clear as it could be, but still a good photo!

These are two sets of subjects in the Rule of Odds presentation.
A rare find! Well timed still motion capture.
Monochromatic foreground.
Visually soothing backdrop.
Pin sharp focusing. Good perspective & long depth of field... Bright lighting. Thanks for sharing...

You have a most excellent eye Grace!! I love what you see when you look at a scene.
Yes yes yes on the low-road guys going the opposite direction from the high road guys!! So well seen...well framed and well exposed w/ good color. They are a tad soft but nothing off b/c it is just such a marvelous display!! I love it!

You have presented here quite an impressive array of parading Canadian Geese! Your image is well composed in classic style. It enjoys good exposure and the sharpness is fine. Well done!

A very fine shot with beautiful colors. I like the contrast between these two groups. Not only are they headed in opposite directions but one is against the sky and one against the water with that superb sandy embankment between them. One might read all kinds of implications into this shot. Everything from morality to politics.

That is something. It's as if they are positioning themselves just for this shot. After all, they wouldn't want to all be doing the same thing. Nice photo. Great clarity, focus and composition. Thank you so much for sharing.
