Homeless is always sad but to be homeless in the winter time is the worst. I love the story that your photo is telling us. Great shot Thanks for sharing

Love this candid shot. The first impression I felt was isolation. I think the muted warm color helped create this tone for me. I feel a starkness and cold as she sits alone on the bench. I don't know her, and I hope that she is actually content and comfortable... promotes inquisition

An interesting choice of Sepia tone Fred. I prefer black and white, but I leave those decisions to the artist.
I like your POV which pulls at my heart to see anyone without a home.
My brother and I help many who are out of work or need a meal. We always put others before us.
I am happy she has a dog for a companion and to help stay warm.
I wish everyone helped one person and that each one would reach one.

Nice exposure, fine focus with a touch of reality that stings during this season of giving.
Good Luck

interesting capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the woman on the bench in the wintry setting is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

I don't know about putting this in sepia tone. Would have been great in color or B&W. Your DOF is good. Exposure could be raised a 1/2 step. But that could be the sepia. Like the way the "rule of thirds" was applied.

Converting into sepia really bring this picture to another level. It makes me wonder what that lady would be feeling or thinking in that moment.. it also reminds me to appreciate and not take for granted what I have. Thank you for sharing such and inspirational picture!!

A very grand image on the frosty and cold side!!! Fabulous entry for the contest. I love the change to sepia - takes me to years ago, a nice play on my mind. Grand focus with fabulous detail as well. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!

a very nice contest entry.
as I like the different color you have here as the b/w seems to have a different color from the cloudy day. a nice shot as it looks like the dog has had enough. :-)
thank you for sharing. good luck.
