the picture has good, strong colours, and the use of green in the background to make it stand out works well. however, i think there is to much purple going on. if you had a focal point of 1 flowerand the green leaves surrounding it, te flower would stand out alot better. a good work of art, and thanks for sharing.

a nice painting in acrylics and you have created a certain amount of depth through good use of tones with the lighter tips on the petals and the darker tones as you have worked the brush further into the pals allowing the veins of each petal to blend nicely.Apt for the contest..i wish you luck
