Your work on the facial features and on the hands is just lovely, and you have made the feathers look so light and full of texture. I like the innocent and somewhat solemn expression on the face that makes me think of children battling cancer. This is a subject that hits close to home and a charity that I am dedicated to so this image really has an emotional impact for me. Very nicely done!

very visual work and again thinking outside the box,the subdued light and the wistfull look of the child looking thoughtfull works well,its really sad when anybody passes away from cancer and even more so when its a child,thoughtfull piece of work..brian

I think you have done an excellent job capturing the moment and message you were trying to accomplish. I really like the colors used and details are easily seen. Such a sad time but I don't feel the sadness, I guess because of the wings. They offer such peace and hope and the knowledge of everlasting life. Nicely done
