Well... what a fabulous image. I absolutely love the color here - wonderful and ever so natural. These birds always amaze me in the vividness of their colors and you have captured that perfectly. Wonderful lighting as well with just the very finest focus. Thanks for sharing.

a great shot, Envision. as I love the colors or the
Mandarin ducks as they have gret colors and love you crisp shot enhancing them. glad you did not crop the female out as it makes it whole. a real pleasure to view. thank you for sharing

i also heard they taste good as well. me i have eating duck and i think it has to much fat in it and gives a greasy flavor to it. maybe the Chinese do something different with it. yeah im always thinking of eating. no im not overweight, i just have starved before..wink.lol. the angle of the shot of the colorful ducks is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

A beautiful picture of the Mandarin ducks perched on long on the bank the duck watching you while the more flamboyant drake keeps his eyes on his mate while standing so you can see & admire his exotic & colourful plumage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I am glad you left the duo together! I think the female has just as interesting and beautiful coloring as the male! This photo is perfectly crisp and clear, and the ducks are well centered. Great soft background provides a neutral backdrop for their bright coloring. Great shot!
