Wonderful and evil looking image so perfect for the wicked fairy godmother. I like the pale bloodless skin with its blue shadows that create a sense of her cold and frozen heart. The crystal tiara adds a sense of devilish horns that foreshadow her wicked spells.

really amazing and delightful piece. full of painted beauty (but of a different kind). very much captivating look and style. harps back to a golden age of the 20's and 30's, styled productions. very well produced and most skillfully achieved. very much liking the subject (that you obviously have a great passion for) and the most illuminating focal interest. there is no weak sisters in this work of art.

This is impressive work! The techniques you used to illustrate the metallic make up and texture of her face and neck are done remarkably well. The shading and highlights in the eye area and the neck make her entire being come alive. The translucent plastic is rendered well too. The background is also attractive. I enjoy the detailed description too.

I think you know that I don't review much, but when something really good catches my eye I want to let the artist know how special it is. The thing that really grabs my attention is her expression. Holy Cow!!! This is amazing! How long did this take you Cleo? I can't even imagine where you begin with a work such as this. I wish I could take lessons from you....maybe so I could paint a simple flower.. Your vision and your artistic hand have created a poster that a theatre would use for this performance. I'm sure they would love having this oversized poster hanging outside beside their Marquee. Stunning work. Thank you for your thorough artist notes!

I have not really counted the hours because I am working over several weeks on a painting like this. I guess that this one needed somewhere between 50 and 75 hours.

Great digital character study, she certainly looks like a very wicked grandmother. Love interesting work that was done on the crown. It almost looks like it has magical horns. The blue shadows help to give her an even more evil cast.

Carabosse is an evil fairy. I the ballet this reflecting crown gives an impression as if she is flying when she dances.
