LOL, Lucien, you don't have to convince me! I love this one. I never know for sure what the image is from just the thumbprint, so I always enjoy seeing the full image when I open it to review. This one has wonderful detail work as the tiny dots of ink cluster together in places for emphasis. Really neat and always amazing!!

I really admire anyone who can do pure pointillism. Overall very nice. The right wing of the foreground bird does not appear to be attached properly to the bird. This is probably due to the scan process and is merely me picking a nit. Since this is a detail I can't tell if the little lack of depth is due to this being background or ...? Pure pointillism, very hard to do. Hats off to you. Thanks for sharing.

Why would anyone not believe you? I think it's amazing that you do these the way that you do. And this one is as good as any I've seen of yours. I love these pigeons and you've done such a great job making them look so realistic in their proportions. Beautiful detail and shading. Really nice work, Lucien.

Leighann, there are those that can not beleive, I hope if they can they will come and see the work in person. not to brag but some of it even amazes me, and I know that sound corny, but it is true. anyway, thanks for the great support and comments, very much appreciated... heck there are some on this site that do not think i'm an artist? go figure.. I am told I am and so I must be... all I do is draw and enjoy the process, if others enjoy the result great, if not... their loss.. take care and cheers... LvO

How beautiful your pen and ink is. You have done an excellent job at creating life on paper that wasn't there before. The birds are in perfect proportion, and the wings are fantastic.

Whistful1, Stanley is someone who visits this site, sees my work and ask questions about my work that are very aggravating and accusatory about my abilities... anyway I've invited him to my up and coming show, so he can see for himself, however he never responds to my e-mails... anyway, so now and again I throw a dig his way... ...
