i love the wing position, and the gracefulness of the head that the pigeon is so well known for having, you did well on the placement of the birds, leaves one have to finish the image of a few of them in their imagination.

EXCELLENT! Who is Stanley? This is magnificent to me! The dots forming the pigeons and the white area being left white, AWESOME WORK! I know this has to take a long time to get it down on paper, using just dots of ink. Fantastic job. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Diamondeyes, i get all kinds of weird messages about my work, Stanley is like my nemesis, he sends me e-mail, he does not believe these are all done by hand using dots.. so ever now and again I send him a little message, through this site. thanks for the great review and your wonderful support of my work.. really do appreciate it... take care...cheers... how unigue to post it in section. But could you scan it sections and then in your ps sew it back together so that you could show the whole image.
I like this one is like all of your work, wonderful!

Dianna, I was thinking of trying to photograph the whole image and the seeing how it come up on the computer screen... may do that as the last post to this image sseries... we'll see how it goes... as always thanks for the great support... take care be talking with you... cheers... LvO

Very good drawing bird in the sky
Athought the picture is come with black and white colour,I love it for the lighting and harmony of this kind of mood.
THere are many details parts in those birds that make them seem more really,but aslo have some fantasy feel!!

Hmm, quite interesting work here. but still needs more improvements in the area of creativity. There is enough dept shown on your work but looks too artificial in the movement of your strokes.
Did you ever realize that you could have used different pen nibs to interprete the forms and the land scapes?
Try it and see the unique effect it will have on your art piece.

Africanartist, Hmmm, another Stanley... what you see is the birds in the sky, Hmmm, yes but that would be to easy, try varying the size of the dot using just perssure (more of a challage, wouldn't you agree?)... thanks for the comments... This is very nicely done, I like the detail and the lighting and shading is beautiful. It is sad that the entrie picture will not work either via scan or on this site as I believe it is probably spectacualr. Really do like the technique, thank you for sharing. Linda
