I love the effect and texture that pointilism give to this art work. The detail in the pigeon is great! I think that the cropping that you had to do worked out fine. Great overall composition! thanks for sharing!

Tom and Susan, a lot of hours, I don't count them anymore, but usually depending on the datails and the size , this one about a 80 to 90 hours... I will post the other sections over the next couple of days... thanks for the great comments and take care ...cheers... LvO

Awesome work on this, I know it takes a long time to get the shading areas right when doing pointilism...I have a friend that does a lot of these, she's got some amazing works (what patience too..LOL) I am always fascinated with this type of traditional art! Very nice work on this, I do like the "sky" in the background...the pigeons look good too (as in they look like pigeons) :) Nicely done!

Awesome work on this, I know it takes a long time to get the shading areas right when doing pointilism...I have a friend that does a lot of these, she's got some amazing works (what patience too..LOL) I am always fascinated with this type of traditional art!
