Your focus, exposure/white balance and crisp details are spot on here.
You did a great job using natural light. Details are ahhhmazing right down to the tiny hair Tufts on his ears.

Thank you very much!! I printed him out on silver paper - he looks even more amazing :) I'll have to send him to you! I just wish both ear tufts showed better, especially the one against the dark cave - gets a little lost in the darkness but I just adore him (maybe her) anyway and especially that expression. I like your use of magnificent - I think that describes him well.

This Lynx looks so different from those we have in Norway, but it is just as beautiful. I especially like the eye contact you had with the animal when the photo was taken, and also how well you have captured the yellow shiny eyes. It is also lovely the way the light is falling on its face, and it is standing out from the background in an excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in every part of the Lynx, and also very fine textures in the fur. It is nothing wrong with the exposure either.
The cropping is perfect and the animal has got a very good placement within the frame. I think this is a great looking and well taken portrait of a Lynx, and with an excellent DOF.

You are more than welcome. The Norwegian Lynx is more yellow, and also the face looks a bit different.

A beautiful picture of the Lynx doing it's best to stare you out with those golden eyes it's long thick ruff reminds me of a judges wig. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Thank you very much! I was focused on the idea of a bow tie that I hadn't notice the resemblance of a judge's wig :) He does look a little like he's judging too!

This is what I call just flat out beautiful and so life like. Very nice focus bringing out all that detail, the eyes, the ears, the hair, the whiskers and that face. Nice colors too. Really nice work and thanks for sharing. I do however think it could have been a little further back in the frame.
