Very nice. It reminds me of an old-fashioned tin photograph, especially the bush in the left corner. I like the composition and the silhouette adds interest. Excellent lighting. Well done.

Thank you very much! That old-fashioned tin photograph look is just for what I was going.

A wonderful, simple but powerful encapsulation of a portion of something so historically significant. The effects and tone are great in emphasising the meaning behind this photo, and thought provoking as to how much has happened here in the past. Great picture and story.

I think this is beautifully worked out as even the fine structure of the wall is clear and sharp in fine details - just seems possible to touch the wall and to feel the concret in its pattern - great angle and perspective , I think this picture is excellent in sepia and I also think that you found the perfect framing surrounding the window with all kind of plants
perfect focus, contrast and lighting, as a window lover I adore this shot in details, thanks for sharing

This photo looks like a drawing in sepia tone. The transparent image looks like a ghost from the past. Good luck in the contest.

An absolutely wonderful bit of artistry here. There is some grand beauty in the color and the light. Rich emotional pull, at least for me. Perhaps I need to begin playing around with these things! You mention the silhouette of a man... I see a strong shadowed image looking towards the window - can't make out clothes at all??? LOL Well, well - I think this is just wonderful in every way. Thanks for sharing and good luck!

Thank you much for your kind review. It seems to look darker on your screen then on mine, but please look again. Click on the tap for the high quality image. Maybe you can see more there. The man-silhouette stepping away from the window. You cannot really see the his close our face, just the outline of it. If you look at the bottom. About half up his legs, there are dark bars, those are where his boots met his pants. He has on his had a cap made from fur as one of the most known defenders of the Alamo, David Crockett was usually wearing.

Well done! This is a very dramatic photo and it looks fantastic. I like how shadows stand out so much. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. It feels like there is so much texture in this image, which is why it could pass as a drawing to me. You did a wonderful job :) Thanks for sharing :)

A very nice shot of this historic building. The composition is very nice with the greenery framing the window. Great use of sepia toning. Good luck in the contest.
