Such a beautiful image of spring with these bright coloured tulips in contrast with the rich green grass and the 'dots' of red. Wonderfully composed and I really like the low perspective. Great clarity shown and excellent lighting.

So pleased you agree that it was the perfect post to honor the arrival of spring ca! I do appreciate your most wonderful review and thank you especially for the gold star you shared w/ my yellow TULIPS. Thank you so very much for both.

The most impressive of this photo are the wonderful colors. This yellow and green accompanied by touches of red, orange and blue gives the feeling of spring. The well focused tulips are pleasantly placed on a shallow background which gives the feel of balance and harmony.

One of my favorite of the early flowering beds Cleo and I REALLY wanted something bright and cheery for the first day of spring rather than another snowy landscape post so happy to read your comments. Do really appreciate you checking it out and giving it such a nice review too. Thank you so much. Sent you pm re: the wayward seeds lol.

Yes beautiful tulips. Love the vibrant yellow. Great focus and framing. I like that just the two in front are in sharp focus and it fades to the background. Almost looks like an oil painting in the background as well nicely done

awww...such a lovely review Mary Lynn. Today the weather here has absolutely whip-lashed me back into the depths of winter...lol....oh well, it won't be long before I am seeing these pretty yellow and red TULIPS for real instead of simply scrolling by on my screen saver. Always appreciate you checking out one of my new posts and thanks so very much for the really excellent review of this one.

Great vivid colors all over the place; showing the beauty of simple parts of nature. The red, yellow, and green colors dominate, and this would be an excellent wallpaper for a computer. The rich textures up front look great also, and the slightly blurred background brings out the flowers up front even more.

I just knew I had to post a bright, cheery floral for the first day of spring Mr. O'M....rather than another snowy landscape as I had been posting. Do appreciate you checking this one out and thank you for the wonderful review of it too.

Well executed shot on the yellow tulips. Focus is nice and crisp expelling the red edges which ads to the highlights of the yellow and also see brown on the edges. Nice work and thanks for sharing. I have no luck with these. The moles find the bulbs very tasteful.

Do you know Don that one year- after I grew very tired of the moles dragging off my bulbs- that I dug up the TULIP bed and after replacing the bulbs I laid garden fabric on top of them and the moles STILL absconded w/ almost half the bulbs...lol....they are diligently annoying little creatures!! Thank you so much for checking out my new post and for giving it such a marvelous review.

Deb - Thanks for a shot of spring renewal. It works for me.

I have not seen this variety of tulip with a subtle red line around the edge, a striking intense yellow. Tell me does the glow keep you up at night?

The quality of your camera skills is without question.

The DOF, composition and framing, work as one and in chorus sing a beautiful ode to spring.

Thanks for sharing this lovely floral ... B-)) Bob

Oh isn't it just the greatest Bob?? That yellow edged in red and w/ the solid red TULIPS makes one striking looking bed...and there are, of course no street lights around me here (none w/in 10 miles at least) so those bright yellow flowers DO glow at night....lol...all on their own.... And dear Bob a "....beautiful ode to spring" is EXACTLY what I was going for so very happy to hear it worked. Thank you so much for your very kind review. I do really appreciate it.
