I think this is one amazing capture, Grace! Wow! I am mesmerized by the eyes. And the contrast that you have achieved with the lights and shadows is beautiful. You have outlined all of the features that a master painter would do. And the light that you have caught from the right has given just enough to show that beautiful white snout.

The bg is a perfect blend of textures, colors, shadows and light as well. A framer, Grace...... gorgeous!

Thank you very much! The six star rating is awesome (and flattering) and as kind as your comments :)

This is a beautiful shot. I admire how you worked with the light. It emphasizes the beautiful eyes and the face perfectly without having any blow out at the white parts. The puma is in sharp focus and well placed into the frame.

Beautiful shot here. Excellent focus and exposure. What makes the shot exceptional is that lovely side light and the beautiful catch lights in the eyes. Lovely blur to the background. Vivid but natural color. Well done.

I just spent the last 2 hours and 22 minutes replying to 25 Reviews and writing 15 Reviews for photos and art and I lost them all....Every single one of them. I saved each one... YET now when I went back to check none of them are there...NONE
NO REPLIES...
NO REVIEWS....
I am heartbroken. I do not understand what transpired. Sometimes I despise technology. When it works, it is awesome, but when it does not, then the only thing a person like me can do is accept it and move on. The sad thing about all of this is that I unfortunately am unable to repeat all what I have said. I only have this computer for another 37 minutes then I must get off and return it to its owner. So much work and effort lost amongst the currents of technology within this computer. ARGH. I owe you the biggest apology. I do hope you accept it and understand that I am unable to retype every word I have said to you in MY REVIEW to you. Hopefully next time MY Review of your work will be exactly what I had intended. There are ghosts in this machine. You deserve what I had said originally, which was quite lengthy and ALL positive I can assure you....BUT RIGHT now, this is the best I can do.

That is completely heart breaking - to work so hard and then to lose it! I'm sorry that happened. Don't feel bad about your review of my work. It really is enough to know that you think it is nice :) I appreciate you working so hard on your reviews but don't worry about me feeling slighted in the least. Thank you very much!

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
ATTA GIRL GRACIE LU!!
I see very nice changes in your camera techs and a superb Understanding of Light and white balance.
Those eyes are MAGNIFICENT and your focus is sharp.
Shooting through glass is no fun, nor is it easy.
You have fine colors, exposure, a sweet captured pose and fine details.
Nice work behind your lens!
Bravo!

Envision - We had such large cats in Vermont some years ago. There are some who say they are coming back - I don't know about that.

I do know that cats who roar can not purr, and cats that purr can not roar.

This is simply a gorgeous take. The coloration of the big guy is spot on beautiful.

You seem to have interrupted a nap, judging by the look of feline annoyance.

DOF, composition and framing of this piece so compliments each other.

The eyes are spectacular, clear and with a glint in each.

The detail and color of the nose and chin is awesome, so real I want to tweak his go-tee.

Beautiful piece so glad you shared ... B-)) Bob

Thank you very much for your nice comments :) She wasn't napping, actually just ignoring me but after about 10 minutes she finally decided she would look at me - yay! and she allowed me to take a few pictures. They are pretty magnificent animals. I think I would be very worried if I saw one up close in the wild though :) Thank you for the great review!

This is some face off with puma and viewer. The more I stare at this the more I feel the power within the cat. The expression is perfect with details flawless capturing why the word lion is associated with the Puma. Easy to see a lioness here with different colouring. Frame filled well. All credit toy you for exhibiting this magnificent cat.

Oh this is just a stunning capture of this Puma. This seems so life like almost as it you have captured his soul. The eyes so sharp and clear and expression on his face just drawing you into this photography. Your focus nice and sharp with well defined details of the fur, nose, whiskers. Your colors, lighting, clarity and contrast are excellent. This is outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

A beautiful, up close portrait of this very handsome and confident looking Puma. Brilliant detail in the face and fur, colours are spot on and blend well with the background, and positioned/cropped neatly to capture the features well. Lovely shot.
