I'm not surprised that we posted the same kitty :) Sange and I posted an Eagle Portrait with that title on the same day once too! Thank you very much for the nice review. They are beautiful animals. She was nice enough to look directly at me (after almost ten minutes) without being overly irritated about it!

I have such a great respect for large wild cats... I love them so much! Great portrait of this beautiful kitty. Perfect clarity of the photo and nicely centered. The puma's expression is nicely captured and tells a lot :-)

Thank you very much. I really like all cats, big and small - canines too :) I thought this beauty was so nice to look directly at me without getting irritated.

A beautiful portrait of the Cougar looking up straight into your eyes (or admiring it's own reflection in your lens) ears cocked to catch your every word. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Oh stunning shot Grace...wow. You know I had one of these guys up in one of my Apple Trees one time. Of course my camera was too far away to run and grab and I didn't want to push my luck so just sort of backed away. But she looked EXACTLY like this...such a really beautiful face.

Excellent crisp sharp focus here. Perfectly natural color w/ good exposure....and just the best sparkle in her lovely eyes....may actually be partly a reflection from the glass? Your animal shots Grace are just a pleasure. It is obvious you know how to handle your camera...and I am so pleased to be able to study this guy up close w/o fear of being jumped on...lol...THAT alone gets you a gold star for this one (besides it being so well done that is)

Thank you very much Deborah for the grand rating! That sparkle in her eyes I think is from the light behind me but it could possibly be reflected from the glass. I would freak out a little if one of these was in my apple tree! I know it may be tempting to whip out the camera but with their speed and agility it would be way too dangerous!! I think you were smart not push your luck :) I think I would have had a serious adrenaline rush if I saw one in my yard! They do have a magnetic beauty to them though. I'm glad you enjoyed this one! Thank you very much :)

I actually got more nervous when I thought about it afterward Grace and got hell from a neighbor when I told him! They are so beautiful and you showed it perfectly here so most welcome for the review and the rating.

Hi ENVISION,

Love what I call a quizzical look on this puma. An expressive image always gets your attention. Looks lie this puma is looking directly at you. This image definitely drew me in. Nice positioning of your subject. :o) Helvi

A very fine shot. The dark setting is perfect for this reclusive animal. I like the colors and the fantastic eye contact.

What a wonderful capture of this cat, the look over that face is grandly powerful. Detail is so well played - great lighting and color as well. I so love the look on that face. Perhaps a bit of curiosity ... Even a bit of sassiness. LOL Great shot. Thanks for sharing.
