It truly seems that this area would offer up grand moments of rest and relaxation. Meditation in a fabulous way. I love the richness of the colors over the trees - natural and quite beautiful. Great detail as well. Thanks for sharing!

You have indeed taken a lot of lovely photos from Japan, and in almost all of them we can see the fantastic cherries in bloom. Especially in this photo where they are showing both in pink and white. I would really have liked to walk the Path of Philosophy and see all this.
Your photo is of course also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen all over. Also the exposure is perfect and the colors ever so lovely.
I like the way you have cropped the photo into a panorama format with the fine leading line from the path bringing the viewer into the composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with a very good DOF.

I love the blue sky peeking in along with the gorgeous pink, white and green.
Lovely POV with fine focus and a superb panoramic crop.
It is nice to travel with you Fred as I have zero plans to ever go here. Italy and Ireland are at the top of my someday list.

What a riot of pink! You were there at the absolutely best time. I always enjoy pictures of paths leading off into the distance, so I really like this point of view. The panorama works well to draw the eye from left to right.

A beautiful picture of the Path of Philosophy lined on either side by flowers Cherry trees their branches overhanging the path & the water nearby. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques 7 sharp focus.
