The composition has great dept. It is an interesting view into the storm, but almost threatening. The viewer has the impression that the storm will is moving forward right through the screen into the living room, I feel like a tumbleweed. The dust covered landscape in the background is almost mystical. It seems to hide a castle and a landscape of fairy tale character.

Thank you again, dear friend. You got me thinking about tumbleweeds. Don't see many paintings with tumbleweeds, maybe because they're so hard to paint. I'll have to look into that, lol. Again, thank you for the wonderful comments. :)

Yes, indeed; they are probably hard to paint, but I think it still would be worth the try.

An interesting image that captures the approaching dust storm quite well. I like the way it seems to dissolve the detail in the distance and turn everything that luminous shade of brown. Nicely composed with very attractive colors.

Good use of software to produce a very eye catching piece . Particularly like the light tones running from the foreground and into the distance and the darker tones of the soil running alongside,giving this piece depth...impressive digital presentation
