A beautiful shot that is quite interesting. It seems that almost all the people are looking at the building on the right. I wonder what it is. The kimonos are beautiful and their colors really look great in this flat light.

colourful image of these geisha girls and one which through the colours of their clothing attracts the eye of the viewer to the point that the rest of the image as dull as it may seem does not distract from the subject in hand.

A lovely picture capturing again day to day life in suburban Kyoto - the pink umbrellas are fantastic and stand out well as a focal point and matches well with some of the traditional garments the ladies are wearing - pink seems to be a theme here!! good DOF with the tree central in the background, lovely shot.
