many thanks for the very interesting notes, as usual, when so many people on this site don't even indicate where itwas taken;
a very nice composition, and what is funny: it looks like a painting we have;

Oh it's like stepping back in time av....what a lovely little spot and your notes.....sooo good. I really enjoyed reading about this enchanting little spot.

Wonderful focus...absolutely everything from the tiled roof to the cobblestone road is perfectly detailed. Colors are lovely and natural....and the blue shutters and doors? love them. Well exposed and framed so nicely to give a glimpse of not only the wonderful stone work but the hills beyond. Marvelous use of natural light and lay of the land. Your lady walking is just the added bonus.

Oh you must just love it there av. It is so good that you can not only photograph it so well but can present it so nicely for the rest of us.

Deborah

Just liked this enough that I looked at it some more av after I finished my review. The scene is so marvelous I might consider cropping out the more modern bit of building showing at left frame...just peeking up over that tiled roof.

Thanks for the good artists notes and storytelling. It's images like this one why I love landscape photography. I like the old women in the scene. The old home has such charm with the clay title roof to the blue shutters on the windows and the blue door. The tree frames the scene beautifully.
Your colors, lighting, sharp focus, and clarity make this outstanding photography. Wonderful storytelling and photography at it's best! This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!

Love this!! GREAT storytelling abilities, superb use of natural light and I am so loving the blue door and window shutters.
Focus is sharp, exposure controlled and I am Diggin' the textures and greenery.
The sweet old lady walking down the road adds life to the shot.
Great Capture Cara :)

This scene could have been taken any time in the last two hundreds years. The snapshot captures a moment of time in the rural pastoral village very well. The lighting and use of shadows and backlit lady are presented perfectly. The vertical crop works well.

This photo is fascinating even before one read the interesting comments about the village. That this house and the road of impressive age is clear at first view. Nature and time have altered the facade cracked the old street, allowing weeds to grow in the cracks. That the lady is using a walking stick might be due to her old age, but it emphasizes the difficulties of walking through those streets.
The light is especially well used. The shadows seem to amplify the woman and the house.

This is so real I feel like I can reach out and touch everything. What wonderful colors...reminds me of an oil painting. Capturing the woman adds a human element to all. The detail is absolutely gorgeous. I love this and would want it framed and hung up for all to see!
