Thanks for the info notes.
Verdant foliage softened somehow the concrete brick roofs.
I would have waited for that old lady with a cane, to be illuminated as she's really needed in this scene.
Ideal off centered framing.
Sharply focused.
Well lit...

I love photos like this. I like to make up stories about the person in the photo. The timing is excellent with the sunlight on the roof, but creating the shadow the woman is standing in which makes her more mysterious. Great focus, lighting and framing.

This is excellent in every way. Your story to begin with. What a delightful amount of history and present time information. You must cherish the days that you spend in this area. Your photo has added the icing on the cake so to speak...to your story. You have captured the essence of the village perfectly. Depicting one of the honorable grandparents of one of these families could be on the cover of your book telling the story of life here...historical fiction of course. As you would need to use your excellent sense of artistry in thought and words and photography to set your readers imaginations into high gear. I love the blue shutter and door. The detail of the tile roof and the earthy tones of the overall composition all blend together beautifully..as the shadowed image heads for home..or perhaps to visit a neighbor. Thank you for sharing your travels with us.. A pleasure to view.

A remarkable shot in my opinion. The composition is superb and the colors could not be better. I like the lady in the shadow and the great tiled roof. I might consider cloning out that square building behind the roof.

Very nice.... I like the diagonal line from the lower left corner -- leading the viewer's eye into the photo. I also like that this well-focused photograph has a lot of different texture. Artist license: I would probably crop off 25% of the top as it would help keep the attention on the old woman.
