Good timing and settings with spray caught like mixed sized diamonds to
long continues spray.
Excellent take from the shadow to the animal outline by low light rays from the left.
Some might suggest
'flash-fill" but that in
my opinion is personnel
choice.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your input. I personally avoid using flash in outdoor photography in order to emphasize the reality of the scene. That of course is my personal opinion. I this case a fill flash would not have worked anyway since the dog was to far away. It only looks like a close up because I cropped more than 50% of the photo.

yep,,lots of splashing going one here, dogs love the water, this one looks like he is in heaven with the stick to keep him motivated to just keep going in,,very nice action shot, nice and clear and really good for this contest
