Really beautiful piece here Cleo. You have rendered the details in this one beautifully... The pose and coloring of the bird make the image come alive. The use of light and color add very well to the initial impact. Job well done!

Another one I obviously did not review when it was posted. I must have been busy in June 2017. I found your notes very interesting, and I think you have pictured this beautiful bird so well. It is truly lovely colors of the feathers, and even if the head has a deep blue color, I like this image for all the lovely pastel ones. I also like the simplicity and the fine textures of the background.
Especially the eye is well done because of the well placed high light, but your brush work is also smooth and accurate. It is easy to see that you have paid very good attention to details.
The almost square format is perfect, and the bird is well placed on the canvas. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting Cleo.

The painting was hidden in a blind contest in 2017. Since I have still difficulties with my new computer, I have decided to re-post some of my older paintings. :o)
