This is really a 6 but I ran out. This is a wonderful gift for the parent that she will treasure forever. The idea that this started with graphite pencil with additions of color is so creative and original. I had to read the notes to figure out this is not a photo. The presentation of the little girl as the central large figure surrounded by the beach and water as a incidental background. Stunning work.

Awesome creation. The facial expression is excellent. The shading is excellent. The blend of color is excellent. The details is great. The depth is great. The creation is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Very creative and awesome work overall (clapping)

Thank you Dick for your wonderful and in depth review. I appreciate all of your imput. Her hair is the way mommy's always pull their daughter's hair up. Sometimes, we get it a bit too tight.

Truly lovely. The drawing is impeccable to start with, but your soft and gentle work with the colored pencils and acrylics really raise this to another level of excellence. It just looks so natural right down to one shoe being partially covered by sand and the details of the skirt being faded out a bit. Superbly done.
