Very Cool,Nikman!
As a Druid with a deep Celtic heritage I really enjoy seeing interesting views of the home island like this one that you've presented us with here!
The mistiness adds a very pleasing sense of romantic Mystery to the scene!
'Dea-seo',mo charra'!

Very many thanks for your nice review! Do I take it then that you live in Ireland? Got no idea what your Irish qoute means!!

I've never been there,Nikman! But my ancestors came from Ireland after the potato famine of the 1840s! That quote means 'Good Show,my friend'! You're very welcome! : )

A feel good image.
Grand vista!

KISS principle.
Serene scape.

Diminishing perspective brings us to that mist covered distant mounds...
Vanishing viewpoint creates great depth.

Graduated fading of muted colors.
Subtle illumination.

Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

Classic Irish mists! Beautiful calm colors. I love that the hills go on forever and blend into the sky. The water reflects the soothing sky too. Good work.

A beautifully composed shot. I like the sense of depth you get with the increased mists. The overlapping mountain sides are just great and the colors are beautiful.

Nice capture. The angle of the shot of these hills and mist is great. The capture of the light is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Great eye and great job overall

Hi Nikman

This is a beautiful bit of scenery with the layered mountains making for a very ethereal effect. Feels like one is gazing into the heavens! Thanks for sharing this. R

I am not sure why I thought this is a painting before I looked close. Probably because it reminds so much of the exquisite landscape paintings of the same coast by catmal. It is the mood of this landscape, the melancholy and beauty and the serenity, which you have captured most beautifully. How the fog covered silhouette of the mountains in the background descents into the cloudy sky is intriguing. The subdued colors look natural under the misty cover. The fog seem to quite everything down, even the waves which seem only small ripples.

This is very nice. I would imagine you need to be in the right place at the right time to catch this. Nice touch with the most moving in, but not reaching the nearest quite yet.

To me it looks like you have the 3D effect going on and I really like it. One place that I like to go is the mountains and when you do don't ever forget your most important friend and that is your camera, you never know what you will see, when I leave the house my camera has its own seat (LOL). Have a nice weekend. JackJr.
