Yes, there's something about unshoed shoes that tells a thousand stories. I am planning to do a sketch of my walking boots at some point and a pose such as this one will be considered if I choose the theme of 'Impatience' :) Lovely photograph and good luck in the contest! R

I love this picture for so many reasons. The innocence in this picture is so nice. Adult life can be overwhelming at times and it's nice to have reminders like this to slow down and enjoy our lives. This picture reminds me of my son. He is always taking off his shoes/clothes the minutes he steps inside the house.

I love this picture for so many reasons. The innocence in this picture is so nice. Adult life can be overwhelming at times and it's nice to have reminders like this to slow down and enjoy our lives. This picture reminds me of my son. He is always taking off his shoes/clothes the minutes he steps inside the house.

Cute and candid and appropriate for the contest. Though the colors don't pop, we can imagine the toddler pushing off the shoes, and the usefulness they've been all day long. Pitter Patter thump! Love the spot on the sole and the velcro sticking out.
