By the grace of God and all that is good, "PegLegDeb" is at large in the night with camera and flashlights.

I am still amazed at how well you have mastered this simple method of lighting. I know a few master shooters with thousands of dollars into lights who would kill for light like yours.

Again the camera technique is awesome. Every part of the blossom is illuminated very well and sharp as can be.

Your method of framing this take diagonally gives this take noticeable impact.

The black and white contrast is just that B&W.

Ya done good Deb ... B-)) Bob

ahahaha....went through all kinds of hell OMP to get this shot. The blossom was a bit high for my 'flashlight-between-the-knees' method. Had to weigh the branch down a bit in order to illuminate it sufficiently. Just love the 'ya done good Deb' bit Bob! Always look forward to your thoughts on my images. Thank you so much for such a wonderful one here.

What an amazing photo of this flower....I love what you did with it....the dark background...no leaves....just the white....It almost looks like a kind of a rare cloth that when touched it will fizzle and disappear forever....I really like this shot. I am running out of computer time or I would say lots more....just know it is in thought not yet typed.....thanks for sharing.....PS HAPPY 4th of July!!!!

It never occurred to me to photograph flowers after dark. I can see that you get wonderful results.

I agree that this flower appears to glow and I love the sparkling water drops.

I hadn't even noticed them Barbara...lol....evening dew or left over from the rainfall that day I imagine. Do appreciate you checking out my new piece. Thank you....and photographing my flowers after dark is one of my favorite ways to get a different slant on the same old flower image. You should try it.

What a hoot! I can just imagine. My first reaction to this is that the flower petals look like shiny silk. Your focus is so perfect that we can see every little ripple, shine and shadow. I love the slight yellow and pink tones that appear. This is truly a treasure of a flower!
