What a precious child! I like the angle you chose for your drawing because it makes me (the viewer) feel less intrusive while looking at him. The tousled hair is very natural, and the smile engaging. This is certainly worthy of a contest entry.

a reflection of your love for your sister and this child.

A wonderful expression you've drawn on your great nephew's face. I particularly like that you have done it in semi-profile. How beautifully you've shown Axel's little baby teeth and long eyelashes.
A really lovely piece and I imagine it is a great comfort for your Sister.
