This is a God picture and I only give it 3.5 stars for the fact that, for me, it was not that eye catching. I personally would've been more impressed if the her on stood out a little more from the background. Good job, though.

My, my, what an interesting color blue here. It looks like a purple shade around his neck. This is quite a shot and he looks pretty tall. But I get confused sometimes between the Heron and the Egret. They both have those long skinny legs. Wonderful capture here.

A really nice capture here. I did not know about the Little Blue. Great information. Sharp focus and excellent rendering of colors. Branches add a nice framing element. Well done. One thought: By cropping in from the right about 1 inch, that big branch will be coming into the scene from the lower right corner on a diagonal. That will add a touch of drama to this wonderful scene and also give more prominence in the composition to that beautifully captured bird. Just a thought. Very nicely done ~ Steve

Best artist notes i have seen on this site.

The detail is so sharp for this blue guy. there is fine feather detail from one end to the other - well done. The is virtually no detectable motion blur on any aspect of the very well done take.

Color range is well defined.

DOF and all other camera settings are well thought through and effectively demonstrated.
