You should on won 1st not 3rd prize with this. You were robbed. Perfect clarity on the flower and wings. Great subdued background. Also great colours I should of won 3rd.

This is as good as it gets when it comes to small insects and flowers.

Your camera technique is absolutely spot on perfect. Everything necessary to tell this story is in super fine detail and bright. No distractions from the wonderful layered bokeh of the background.

The viewer of this piece is in for a large helping of eye candy.

It has impact in its simplicity.

Color, contrast and lighting are excellent.

Wonderful image of your Tiger Swallowtail butterfly and flower. Everything sharp, revealing all the colorful detail in both that are very well framed. Enjoy also how they pop against muted background. Thank You for sharing.
