This is absolutely beautiful. The center of the tulip is pin sharp while the petals look like the wings of a tropical bird, Or perhaps it is a phoenix flying of in the dark of the night. You really gave that colorful tulip center stage.

I was really hoping photographing it at night would let me show those big bold colors w/o them running together like they do during the day Cleo. I was pretty happy w/ my choice. Thank you so much for having a look...and for the wonderful review. Always look forward to your thoughts on my flowers.

Wow! This is a stunning capture of this parrot tulip I love that color. You know the saying red and yellow catch a fellow. Your framing is perfect to show case this gorgeous flower. Your focus is spot on with wonderful details of the petals with that fringe and the perfect stamen. Good exposure and a good perspective. This is very good work and thanks for sharing!

My gardens are really kicking into high gear right now Catmal. The perennials around where this TULIP was have jumped 6" since I took this photograph. I need a larger memory card for my camera.... I take that many photos....lol Funny that you mention 'alien' I actually have a huge monster ECHINOPS I call my 'Alien Plant' Maybe I'll post that next time. Anyway, you're a doll for giving this guy such a wonderful review and thank you so very much for the gold star you've shared w/ it. I do REALLY appreciate it.

Wow! What a awesome close up shot of a flower. At first sight I thought it to be a well made painting! The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Oh hell sg...lol...we still have snow in April!! Most of my TULIPS are done blossoming by the end of June but this guy is a late variety. To be honest though- it even surprised me by how late it was this season. Thank you so much for checking it out....and for the very fine review you've given it.

Cool,Deb!
It's that bright Orange/Yellow coloration and the dramatic way that it stands out against the dark background in the picture that really grabs my attention about this fine looking image,my friend!
It's AWESOME!

The photo explodes with vibrancy and contrast. The black background pushes out the bright red and yellow even more. Nature combined with abstraction is the theme I notice.

You notice correctly Andre....crazy TULIP made a wonderful natural abstraction all on it's own.....just took me to photograph it. Do appreciate you checking it out and thank you so much for the lovely review you've given it.
