A beautiful scene which is very well composed. I like the rocky shoreline at the bottom and the tree that dominates the left edge. The colors are very nice and the detail in the buildings on the far shore is excellent. Good luck in the contest.

This is very nice. I love seeing the village sandwiched between the dark water and the cloud shadows on the mountains. That bit of brightness on the village seems to be reaching you a bit through a possible cloud break. As the tree on the left is also in the sun. I like that play of light and shadows throughout this composition. Very nice and an excellent entry in this contest! Best of luck!

Beautiful landscape, but I have to be honest, the tree grabs my attention first. Inclusion of the tree gives the composition depth, but it also steals the show. Maybe if you cropped about half of it out it would complement the scene not control it. Otherwise, it is a lovely land/sea scape. Thanks for your notes as well, very interesting.
