Interesting jumble you have assembled here. For a farm tool this is sure a clean item. I like the bright colors and it is sure sharp and clear. Red blue and gold are three colors that really go well together regardless of the shape.

This is an interesting story. Thank you for sharing

Thank you Roger. They are a strange contraption. when not in use the tines are raised as you see it here, and of course I shot it and cropped it to make it look even stranger. When it is being pulled behind a tractor it neatly rakes the hay in neat rows so the bailer can scoop it . Sometimes a small rectangular bail but mostly a huge round bail.

This is a brilliant shot and just my kind of thing (if you're interested look in my portfolio for "simply electric" and "pile on" or "aerial view" I think you'll appreciate them!), a great POV and good lighting shows the intricate repeated design of the rake up close and getting more and more dense as the image gets further away. Great DOF shows it all with great detail and excellent clarity of shot, this is a brilliantly spotted subject that you have turned into a wonderful piece of art - excellent work, the art of turning an everyday object into something quite special is a gift. :)

I LOVE this! What a unique abstract...of something real and useful! Your artistic vision deserves applause!! And your camera and post processing work have created a wonderful abstract. The colors are beautiful. The light and shadows are playing gently together. And your clarity is excellent.
