This is a magnificent landscape scene of the Arno River at sunset taken in Florence Italy. So beautiful with the buildings on both sides of the many bridges framing your photo with the many colors in the sky from the sunset. I like the nice glow and reflection on the water. A good composition and wonderful movement in your scene. Congratulations on The Photography of the Month! Outstanding work and good luck! Thanks for sharing these wonderful scenes.

It is not surprising that this photo reminds me of my home in Germany....buildings the closest together one cannot even stick a thin piece of paper inbetwee....and the water....reminds me of the Rhine River as it flows throughout my town....and the bridges....just like the bridges taking you from one side to the other.....not to mention the lovely sunset in the distance. All so similar....yet so different. I think most European countries have that same look; that same feeling.
This is a beautiful photo of what you got to wake up to each morning as you glance out of your hotel window....lucky you...AND up for photo of the month....now that in itself is impressive. Ciao

Like what you've done w/ these couple of sets sg...showing the same spot at both sunrise and sunset.
This one is particularly lovely....not only the colors in the sky but the way the river is picking up those glorious golds. Very nice. Love how crisply you've presented all those buildings left frame.....ALL the way down too....as well as the wonderful red tiled roofs right frame. Beautiful shot sg. I believe I like Florence very much!!!

yes sg...but I was noticing in your portfolio where you had similar shots- one at sunset...one at sunrise. I didn't review all of them but I thought it was a very cool idea.

A beautiful shot. I like the progression of bridges across the river and the way the water glows golden in the setting sun. The buildings are shown in fine detail and the colors are superb.

Excellent shot with a superb perspective. I love the angle and the receding view of all the bridges as the shot carries the viewer through the scene and toward the setting sun. DOF is top notch along with the clarity, lighting, and details. Could not be any better.
